The Commission and the Council<\/a> want to ban most legally-held firearms and want to register millions of firearms that are currently free such as blank firing guns and deactivated firearms.<\/p>\nThey even want to prohibit and destroy deactivated firearms and confiscate your semi automatics.

Please remember to politely express your disappointment for the way the EU is treating you and\u00a0how you are losing faith in it. You can say that as a result of this you are considering supporting BREXIT or a similar movement in your country. Use your own words.<\/p>\n
Contact your local politicians.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile more than 328,000 citizens signed this petition. This is still far too low in relation to 15 to 20 million gun owners within the EU.<\/p>\n
Circulate this petition especially in your local clubs. Take your notebook with you and help your friends who do not have internet access to sign. When doing so inform them of the Commission proposals and the threat to them.<\/p>\n
